 A man shot dead five neighbors including an 8-year-old boy after some of them had asked him to stop shooting a semiautomatic rifle in his front yard in Cleveland, Texas, because it was keeping their baby awake, police said on Saturday. Police were still looking for the suspect, who used an AR-15-style rifle in the shooting late inside the neighbors’ home on Friday, San Jacinto County Sheriff Greg Capers said. Sheriffs deputies were joined by FBI agents as they continued searching for the suspect, Francisco Oropeza, 38, in a nearby wooded area 18 hours after the attack, Capers said. “We are tracking him with dogs and men on horseback and drones in the air,” Capers said. Pakistan issues demarche to Afghanistan over Chitral attack: FM

ISLAMABAD: Caretaker Foreign Minister Jalil Abbas Jilani on Saturday confirmed that Pakistan has issued a demarche to Afghanistan following a terrorist attack on two military posts in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Lower Chitral district, ARY News reported. “Pakistan registered a strong protest over the incident, summoned the Afghan charge d’affaires and handed over a protest note (demarche) to him,” the foreign minister said while addressing a press conference in Islamabad. FM Jalil Abbas Jilani said the Chitral incident was “very unfortunate” and said Pakistan was taking the recent rise in terrorism very seriously. “It is the responsibility of the Afghan government that if attacks are occurring in Pakistan from their soil then it should stop them,” he added. Man turns to solar panels for mobile-charging business

SUKKUR: A young man, who is running a mobile charging and accessories shop in a Sukkur village, found a smart solution to overcome the problem of electricity shortage in his area. Wahab Tunio, who is a resident of Qureshi Goth in Sukkur and running a small business, started using solar panels to get the required power. He is getting solar power to charge mobile phones and power his desktop computer to run the business which has become a lifeline for him and others in the community. Speaking to ARY News, Wahab Tunio said that he had to rely on solar panels to run his business due to the lack of electricity in the locality.
