India pacer Jasprit Bumrah said he learnt to bowl yorkers by watching Pakistan bowling legends Wasim Akram and Waqar Younis in childhood. Pakistan to host South Africa, New Zealand for ODI tri-series in 2025

LAHORE: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) announced Friday that it will host South Africa and New Zealand for an ODI tri-series ahead of the Champions Trophy 2025. The development came after the newly-appointed PCB chairman Mohsin Naqvi met the Chairman of Cricket South Africa (CSA), Mr Lawson Naidoo and the Chairman of New Zealand Cricket (NZC), Mr Roger Twose on the sidelines of the International Cricket Council (ICC) Board meeting in Dubai. The agenda of the meeting included the ODI Tri-series between Pakistan, New Zealand and South Africa, to be held in February 2025 in Pakistan, just before the ICC Champions Trophy. PAK vs NZ T20I: Babar ton powers Pakistan to 192 against New Zealand

LAHORE: Pakistan captain Babar Azam’s unbeaten century and wicketkeeper batter Mohammad Rizwan’s half-century bolstered Pakistan to a massive total of 192/4 in the second PAK vs NZ T20I here at Gaddafi Stadium. Opting to bat first, Pakistan managed to accumulate a massive total on the scoreboard at the back of an unbeaten century by their skipper Babar and a brisk half-century by Rizwan. Earlier, the opening duo, once again scripted a solid start for the home side; raising 99 runs for the first wicket before Rizwan fell briefly after amassing his half-century. Matt Henry, who tested Pakistan openers in the early phase of the innings, finally tested success in his second spell as he outdid Rizwan, who miscued one straight to Daryl Mitchel at mid-off in the 11th over.
