OpenAI launches official API for ChatGPT

The OpenAI has announced that it will now allow third-party developers to integrate ChatGPT into their apps by using API.

OpenAI, the startup behind ChatGPT claimed that the API can be used for many other uses along with creating an AI-powered chat interface.

The AI giant is offering 1,000 tokens for $0.002, which is “10x cheaper than our existing GPT-3.5 models, OpenAI claims.

It is also offering developers a dedicated instance of ChatGPT if they’re running a huge number of data, it will provide more control over the model and response time with the bot.

Other than ChatGPT API for developers, OpenAI has also announced a new API for Whisper, its speech-to-text model, which can transcribe or translate audio at cheaper prices.

The Artificial Intelligence (AI) giant Chat Generative Pre-Trained Transformer commonly known as ChatGPT integrated into web browsers now.

The Browser maker Opera has jumped into the world of artificial intelligence (AI) and was one of the first browsers to integrate ChatGPT.

They had announced plans to update the AI feature in new upcoming releases. The ChatGPT feature will be placed in the sidebar of the browser.
